Our Story
The co-founders of Nutriendo PR were forever marked by intense experiences that they have lived since the passage of Hurricane Maria in 2017, the summer of '19, the earthquakes of 2020, and the effects of the COVID pandemic. Personal, family, community and business experiences awakened a spiritual call to respond with purpose in their endeavors. After an initial learning process guided by experts in food insecurity issues and strategic philanthropy, they were able to define the need for nutrition security as a crucial one to invest their energies and resources. In the "venture philanthropy" model they found a familiar mechanism to contribute their experiences as entrepreneurs, executives, and investors in this case, supporting other social entrepreneurs in their projects.
